Orior is specialised in the refinement of meat (salami, air-dried meat, raw ham) and the production of convenience products like fresh pasta and prepared dishes as well as vegetarian and vegan products. Since the acquisition of Casualfood (70%), Orior is also active in the airport catering business, especially in Germany. Thanks to several acquisitions 26% of the sales are in Europe and «only» 74% in Switzerland. In Switzerland roughly 70% of the sales are through the retail channel (with Migros and Coop as the biggest customers) and 30% through the food service channel. Main brands are Rapelli, Ticinella, Albert Spiess and since May 2018 also Biotta.
